The following election, appointments, and reappointment have been made:

Election

Dr J. Trebolle, Complutensian University of Madrid, elected BBV Foundation Visiting Fellow in the Faculty of Divinity, from 7 October 1997 to 5 December 1997.

Appointments

  Earth Sciences. Mr N. J. Butterfield, B.Sc., Alberta, Ph.D., Harvard, appointed from 1 January 1998 for three years.

University Assistant Lecturer

  Biological Anthropology. Ms L. A. Knapp, M.A., Ph.D., California, Los Angeles, appointed from 1 October 1997 for three years.

University Assistant Surgeon

  Clinical Veterinary Medicine. Miss D. M. Anderson, B.A., Vet.M.B., CC, M.R.C.V.S., appointed from 1 October 1997 for three years.

Reappointment

  Audio-visual Aids. Mr D. J. Manning reappointed from 1 October 1997 for five years.
