JAPANESE FILM FESTIVAL

A festival of Japanese films will be held in the Kaetsu Centre Lecture Theatre, Huntingdon Road, on 28-30 November.
Friday
5.30 p.m. Reception. Opening presentation by Sir John Boyd in the Kaetsu Centre Foyer.
6 p.m. Rashomon, dir. Akira Kurosawa.
Saturday
4 p.m. Sanshodayu, dir. Kenji Mizoguchi.
7.30 p.m. Four chimneys, dir. Heinosuke Gosho.
Sunday
4 p.m. Video 'Japanese Life and Culture', and 5.30-6 p.m. concert featuring the koto (Japanese harp) (no admission charge).
8 p.m. The life of O-haru, dir. Kenji Mizoguchi.

Admission £1 at the door (includes reception Friday).
