Dr Basim Fuad Musallam, Life Fellow and former Vice-Provost, First Bursar and Director of Studies in Oriental Studies (now Asian and Middle Eastern Studies) of King’s College, formerly Fellow of Clare Hall, sometime University Lecturer in the Faculty of Oriental Studies (now Asian and Middle Eastern Studies), onetime Director of the Centre of Middle Eastern Studies, died on 21 August 2025, aged 82 years.
