John Albert Little, M.A., Ph.D., Emeritus Fellow and former President, Tutor and Director of Studies of St Catharine’s College, formerly Senior Lecturer in the Department of Material Sciences and sometime Proctor (Junior Proctor), President of the Cambridge University Association Football Club, died on 7 January 2026, aged 73 years.

Raymond George Jobling, MBE, M.A., Fellow and formerly Senior Tutor, Admissions Tutor, Tutor and College Lecturer in Sociology of St John’s College, sometime University Lecturer in the Faculties of Economics and Politics and of Social and Political Sciences, Life Vice-President and former Chair of the Psoriasis Association, died on 16 January 2026, aged 84 years.

Sir William Mark Tully, KBE, M.A., Honorary Fellow of Trinity Hall, recipient of the Padma Bhushan and the Padma Shri, journalist, broadcaster and writer, died on 25 January 2026, aged 90 years.
